For the Tech Roads Awards in Abu Dhabi, Evolution Technical was appointed to enhance the existing audio, video and lighting (AVL) infrastructure in the Murban Auditorium, delivering a polished technical production for a large corporate audience.


The project combined the venue's permanent AVL systems with carefully selected supplementary equipment, creating a reliable, high-performance solution that supported presentations, award announcements and live event production while maximising the capabilities of the existing venue infrastructure.

The Challenge


Delivering a premium awards production within an established venue required seamless integration between permanent systems and temporary technical equipment.


The production demanded clear speech reinforcement, dependable wireless microphone coverage, high-quality visual presentation and enhanced stage lighting, all while ensuring compatibility with the auditorium's existing infrastructure. The solution needed to improve production quality without disrupting venue operations or introducing unnecessary complexity.

The Solution


Evolution Technical integrated the venue's existing PA system with a professional live audio workflow centred around a Yamaha CL5 digital mixing console and Yamaha RIO I/O racks, providing greater flexibility, control and audio performance throughout the event.


Wireless audio was delivered using Shure UR4D receivers, supported by a combination of Shure UR1's with DPA lapel microphones, ensuring clear and consistent speech reproduction for presenters.


Visual content was displayed using the auditorium's built-in LED screen, providing crisp, high-resolution playback for presentations, branding and multimedia content.


To enhance the visual environment, Evolution supplemented the venue lighting with Robe BMFL fixtures and Astera AX5 wireless luminaires, improving stage lighting while creating a refined ambience that elevated the overall guest experience.


By strategically enhancing the venue's permanent AVL system, Evolution delivered a dependable, efficient and technically robust production tailored to the requirements of a high-profile corporate awards ceremony.
