Bringing together key voices from government and industry, the Make it in the Emirates Forum showcased the UAE's vision for manufacturing, investment and industrial growth at the ADNOC Energy Center.

Supporting the event required more than a traditional conference setup. Evolution was responsible for connecting two independent venues through a unified audiovisual and control system, enabling presentations, discussions and live content to flow seamlessly throughout the forum.

The Challenge

Unlike a conventional conference, the forum relied on two independently operating venues that needed to function as one coordinated event. Existing venue infrastructure had to be integrated with temporary AVL systems without disrupting ongoing operations, while maintaining consistent performance across both locations.

The production also required centralised control over audio, lighting and video, allowing technical teams to monitor system performance, manage live content and make real-time adjustments from a single front-of-house position. Achieving this level of integration while maintaining reliability throughout a live programme demanded careful planning and robust network architecture.

The Solution

Rather than replacing the venue's existing infrastructure, Evolution built upon it, combining in-house systems with additional production technology to create a unified technical environment. Professional audio, lighting, media playback and networking were connected through a central control platform, enabling both venues to operate seamlessly while retaining independent functionality where required.

A resilient networking backbone allowed production teams to distribute signals, monitor system health and coordinate operations across both spaces, ensuring every presentation, discussion and content cue was delivered accurately throughout the event.

Delivery Highlights

  • Integrated existing AVL infrastructure across the Main Auditorium and Ghasha Hall.
  • Connected venue audio systems through Yamaha digital consoles and redundant Dante networking.
  • Deployed L-Acoustics audio systems to complement existing venue coverage.
  • Supplied Shure wireless microphone systems for presenters and panel discussions.
  • Enhanced venue lighting using ROBE, Astera and Chauvet fixtures.
  • Managed lighting control via Full Boar 4 and Road Hog lighting consoles.
  • Delivered video control using a BARCO E2 Gen2 system and Ventuz media servers.
  • Connected all AVL systems through a centralised Luminex network supporting AVB, Dante and Art-Net protocols.
  • Enabled real-time monitoring, redundant signal routing and centralised front-of-house control.
  • Provided complete technical management and on-site operational support throughout the forum.

Outcome

By bringing together permanent venue infrastructure and temporary production systems, the forum operated as a unified event across two independent spaces. Presentations, panel discussions and multimedia content were delivered consistently, while production teams maintained complete visibility and control over every technical system.

The project demonstrated Evolution's expertise in integrating complex venue infrastructure into a single production workflow, providing the flexibility, reliability and operational confidence required for a high-profile national forum.
