Red Sea Film Festival – Women in Cinema Gala Dinner & After Party
As part of the Red Sea Film Festival, Evolution Technical delivered a comprehensive audio, video and lighting solution for the Women in Cinema Gala Dinner and After Party at Jeddah Yacht Club.
The event incorporated multiple technical environments, including the guest arrival experience, red carpet, gala dinner and after party.
Each space required a bespoke AVL solution while maintaining a consistent production standard throughout the evening. From live performances and VIP speeches to immersive lighting and synchronized visual content, Evolution Technical delivered a fully integrated production across every stage of the event.
The Challenge
Producing a premium gala event across multiple venues required careful coordination, seamless technical integration and reliable performance throughout the evening.
Each area presented different operational requirements. The entrance needed elegant architectural lighting to create a memorable arrival experience, while the gala dinner required professional audio systems capable of supporting live musical performances, DJ sets and VIP presentations. The after party demanded a high-energy production environment with immersive lighting, powerful sound reinforcement and synchronised visual content.
Delivering a cohesive experience while managing multiple production zones required detailed planning, experienced technical crews and precise system integration.
The Solution
Evolution Technical designed and delivered a complete AVL solution tailored to each event environment.
The guest arrival and red carpet areas were illuminated using SGM P5 and Ayrton Rivale fixtures, creating a refined and welcoming atmosphere that complemented the prestige of the event.
The gala dinner, staged over the swimming pool, featured a professional live performance system built around L-Acoustics Syva loudspeakers with 5XT delay speakers, controlled via DiGiCo front-of-house consoles. Wireless Shure PSM 1000 in-ear monitoring systems supported the performers, including live performances by Ayra Starr, DJ sets and VIP speeches.
Lighting for the dinner was suspended from a balcony truss structure incorporating Robe MegaPointe, Robe BMFL and Robe Spiider fixtures. Wireless table wash lighting added subtle atmospheric illumination across the dining space.
For the after party, Evolution installed a Eurotruss structure supporting scenic fabrics, lighting fixtures and a L-Acoustics Kara audio system with SB18 subwoofers, X12 delay speakers and 15HiQ stage monitors for the DJ. A 2m × 1.5m Absen P3.9 LED screen, driven by a Watchout media server, delivered synchronized visual content that enhanced the audio performance and created an immersive party environment.
