    Ferrari World Abu Dhabi appointed Evolution Scenic to design and fabricate a scaled-down, cartoon-inspired replica of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 for a live theme park performance.


    The objective was to capture the unmistakable character of Ferrari's flagship supercar while introducing a playful, theatrical interpretation suitable for live entertainment. The vehicle needed to accommodate three performers, operate safely within a confined stage environment and deliver reliable performance throughout the production.

    Recreating one of Ferrari's most recognisable vehicles for live entertainment required a careful balance between visual authenticity, engineering and functionality.


    The replica needed to faithfully reflect the design language of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 while remaining lightweight, manoeuvrable and safe for performers. Limited stage space demanded exceptional manoeuvrability, requiring the vehicle to pivot within tight operating areas while maintaining smooth and precise movement.


    The project also required a durable finish capable of withstanding repeated performances, together with an integrated power and control system that ensured safe and reliable operation.

    Evolution Scenic designed and fabricated a fully custom, scaled-down Ferrari Daytona SP3 replica, combining creative fabrication with specialist engineering and technical integration.


    The vehicle was initially sculpted from lightweight styrofoam, allowing the design team to accurately recreate the car's distinctive bodywork while minimizing overall weight. The prototype was then reinforced using fiberglass and resin, producing a durable, high-quality finish suitable for regular live performances.


    A bespoke four-wheel chassis was engineered to house high-torque drive motors, enabling the vehicle to pivot on its own axis and navigate the confined performance space with precision.     Evolution technical were commissioned to design and deliver a custom wireless-triggered lighting control system for the KSA Pavilion's opening sequence at Expo 2025 Osaka.


    Developed in under a week, the battery-powered solution combined bespoke electronics, DMX control, and redundant triggering to provide a reliable lighting reveal for an international live event.

    The Challenge


    The opening sequence required a compact lighting control system capable of triggering multiple RGBW lighting zones without relying on existing venue infrastructure. The solution needed to be battery powered, easily transportable, quick to assemble on site, and robust enough for a live international presentation.


    With less than a week available before shipment, the system also had to be fully engineered, tested, documented, and packed for export within an exceptionally tight programme.

    Our Lighting and R&D teams developed a bespoke wireless lighting control platform centered around ESP32-C3 microcontrollers and CueCore2 DMX control. A custom handheld transmitter communicated wirelessly with a receiver connected to the lighting controller through opto-isolated GPIO inputs, allowing pre-programmed lighting sequences to be triggered reliably without line-of-sight restrictions.


    The entire system was designed as a modular battery-powered package incorporating power conversion, custom wiring looms, and plug-and-play connectors for rapid deployment.   • LIV Golf - Riyadh, 2025

    Evolution Technical designed, delivered and operated the festival-style Main Stage for the 2025 edition of LIV Golf Riyadh, creating a high-performance live entertainment environment within one of the region’s leading sporting events.


    Working alongside Leaders, SELA and LIV Golf, the team delivered a touring-standard production platform for international and regional artists, supported by integrated audio, lighting, video, rigging, stage management and on-site technical operations across the three-day tournament.


    Evolution’s scope extended beyond the Main Stage. Across the wider site, the team designed and deployed a series of technical guest-experience features, including a drive-through feature truss arch with integrated lighting, a bespoke ground-supported truss structure with custom angles and Astera Titan Tubes, and an immersive DJ maze built from approximately 500 illuminated IBC tanks. Each IBC fixture was centrally controlled via media server, allowing synchronised animations to run throughout the installation.


    Together, these elements helped connect the live music programme, tournament environment and guest journey into one cohesive event experience.

    The Challenge


    LIV Golf Riyadh 2025 required a Main Stage capable of supporting festival-quality live entertainment within the operational setting of a major international sporting event.


    The stage needed to meet the technical expectations of recognized international artists while also accommodating regional performers, rapid changeovers and a three-day entertainment schedule. Audio, lighting, video, rigging and stage management all had to work as a single coordinated system, with enough flexibility to respond to artist requirements and the pace of live event delivery.


    Beyond the Main Stage, Evolution was also contracted to deliver original technical and interactive features across the site. These included illuminated entrance structures, a custom VIP/vehicle tunnel experience and an immersive DJ maze installation designed to create strong visual impact for guests moving through the entertainment zone.

    Evolution Technical designed and delivered the fully integrated festival-style Main Stage, combining professional staging, touring-grade audiovisual systems and experienced technical management.


    The Main Stage production was produced by Evolution Technical and included a high-performance stage structure, a professional D&B audio system specified for live music and touring performances, a dynamic concert lighting rig suitable for specific artist requirements and high-resolution LED video surfaces. Camera feeds sent to large format IMAG screens improved audience visibility across the venue, while the lighting and video systems created the scale and atmosphere expected from a major music performance environment.


    Led by our HOD as Technical Director for the project, the team also managed the complete technical delivery around the stage, including rigging, system integration, stage management, technical crew and on-site production support. This allowed artist changeovers, show calls and live entertainment operations to run efficiently throughout the tournament.


    Across the wider site, Evolution Technical delivered several custom-built technical experiences. A drive-through feature truss arch was designed with integrated lighting to create a strong arrival moment for vehicles and guests. A bespoke ground-supported truss structure, built with custom angles and fitted with Astera Titan Tubes, added movement, colour and visual energy to the entertainment zone entrance.


    For the DJ maze experience, Evolution deployed approximately 500 illuminated IBC tanks as controllable lighting fixtures. Each unit was connected to a central media server, enabling synchronised animations and coordinated visual sequences throughout the installation. The result was an immersive, programmable environment that combined scenic scale with bespoke technical control.

    Evolution Technical delivered a festival-scale live entertainment environment that integrated with the LIV Golf Riyadh 2025 tournament experience.


    The Main Stage provided a robust, professional platform for international and regional performers, while the wider technical installations added energy, movement and visual identity across the site.
