The Qudwa–PISA Global Competence Forum 2022, held at Expo 2020 Dubai, brought together educators, policymakers and international thought leaders to explore the future of education and global competency. Evolution was selected to provide the complete AVL solution, supporting both the main conference venue and adjoining pre-function areas with dependable technology that kept the programme running smoothly from start to finish.

The Challenge

The event extended beyond a single presentation space, with activity taking place across both the main auditorium and the adjacent pre-function area.

This required a coordinated production approach that maintained consistent audio quality, visual presentation and lighting across multiple environments while allowing delegates to move naturally between sessions and networking spaces.

At the same time, the programme featured a continuous schedule of keynote presentations, panel discussions and multimedia content, placing significant emphasis on dependable playback, clear speech reinforcement and responsive show control throughout the event.

The Solution

A production system was developed to connect every part of the event into one coordinated experience. The main stage was supported by a large-format LED display for presentations and visual storytelling, while professional sound systems ensured evenly distributed audio throughout the venue.

Lighting extended beyond the conference stage into the surrounding event spaces, helping create a welcoming atmosphere while reinforcing the forum's branding. The Accelerate 100x Forum, organised by ADNOC, brought together senior executives, government representatives and industry leaders for a strategic programme delivered simultaneously from ADNOC Business Centre in Abu Dhabi and Al Ruwais.

The Challenge

Running a live event across two venues presented a unique set of technical challenges. Rather than producing two independent conferences, the objective was to create a shared experience where speakers and delegates at each location could interact naturally, as though they were in the same room.

A hybrid production environment was engineered to link both venues through a resilient fibre network supported by bonded 4G backup. Live audio, video and production communications flowed continuously between Abu Dhabi and Al Ruwais, allowing keynote speakers, panel discussions and audience interaction to take place without noticeable delay.

Presented by VCA at ICD Brookfield Place, PRADA Mode transformed a contemporary urban venue into an exclusive cultural destination featuring art installations, live music, workshops and social gatherings. The Challenge

PRADA Mode blended contemporary art, hospitality and live entertainment within a gallery-inspired setting, requiring technical production that was both powerful and unobtrusive. The challenge was to deliver immersive sound, architectural lighting and reliable production infrastructure without compromising the venue's aesthetic.

The venue as it stood had no rigging points or attachments in the roof, meaning a custom solution was required to support the required lighting rigging and infrastructure

The production also needed to support multiple event formats throughout the programme, transitioning seamlessly between exhibitions, workshops, DJ performances and evening social experiences while maintaining technical performance.

The Solution

Evolution Technical designed and delivered a fully integrated AVL solution tailored to the venue's artistic vision. A dual-zone L-Acoustics audio system provided balanced coverage for both ambient music and live performances, while professional Pioneer DJ equipment, Shure wireless microphones and HK stage monitoring ensured reliable performance throughout the event.

Architectural lighting combined Astera, Martin and Chauvet fixtures with custom LED integration to enhance the venue's features, all controlled via a High End Full Boar 4 console using Swisson Wireless DMX. Our rigging team designed and installed permanent rated anchor points to the venue roof allowing a truss grid to be flown to support all lighting and infrastructure. An 8-metre Litec circular truss was also suspended from these and supported the production infrastructure, overall preserving the clean visual language of the space while delivering maximum technical performance.

Delivering technical production for a prestigious awards ceremony demanded a seamless integration of multiple AVL systems within one of the UAE's most prestigious venues.

The production required high-resolution LED Screens for branded content, sponsor media and award sequences, alongside premium audio reinforcement for speeches, video playback and live entertainment. The stage environment was enhanced using Astera Titan Tubes, Astera AX5 fixtures, Robe moving lights and Chauvet fixtures. Custom RGBWW LED cove lighting was integrated into the stage stairs, while LED beam fixtures surrounding the podium added depth and visual impact throughout the ceremony. Lighting control was managed through a GrandMA lighting system, providing precise programming and show execution.

Audio reinforcement was delivered using an L-Acoustics KARA line array system with SB18 subwoofers, complemented by X12 front fills and stage monitors, all powered by LA12X amplifiers. A Yamaha QL5 digital mixing console with RIO stage boxes ensured clear, balanced audio for award presentations, speeches, multimedia playback and live performances.

For the Kerzner Global Conference Awards Gala 2022, Evolution Technical were appointed to deliver the complete AVL solution for the awards ceremony and gala dinner at One&Only Royal Mirage Fort, Dubai.

The brief called for a fully ground-supported production that combined premium live event technology with elegant architectural lighting, creating an immersive environment that reflected the prestige of the Kerzner brand.

The production supported award presentations, speeches, live entertainment and evening celebrations within a sophisticated outdoor setting.

The Challenge

Producing a premium outdoor gala required a technical solution that balanced high-performance live production with refined visual design.

The audio system needed to provide consistent coverage for speeches, awards presentations and live performances across the open-air venue, while the lighting design had to enhance both the stage and the surrounding architecture. The production also required a stable ground-supported structure capable of supporting the complete AVL system without compromising the venue's aesthetics.

Integrating architectural lighting, wireless performance systems and special effects into one seamless production demanded careful planning and technical coordination.

The Solution

Evolution Technical designed and delivered a fully integrated AVL solution centred around a Litec aluminium ground-supported truss system, providing a stable and visually clean platform for the production equipment.

Audio reinforcement was delivered using L-Acoustics speaker arrays powered by LA12X amplifiers, ensuring clear and even sound coverage throughout the venue. HK Audio floor wedges provided stage monitoring, while Shure RF wireless microphone systems supported speeches and award presentations. Performers were equipped with Shure PSM 1000 wireless in-ear monitoring systems, allowing unrestricted movement while maintaining exceptional audio quality.

Lighting combined both performance and architectural elements. Astera Titan Tubes and Astera AX5 fixtures created ambient lighting and enhanced the event décor, while Robe and Chauvet fixtures formed the core performance lighting rig. The façade of the venue was mapped using Robe fixtures with custom mashrabiya gobos to deliver dynamic architectural lighting sequences synchronized with the evening's programme.

Lighting control was managed using a High End Full Boar 4 console integrated with Swisson Wireless DMX, providing reliable control while minimizing visible cabling throughout the venue.

To enhance key award presentations, cold spark machines were incorporated into the production, adding dramatic visual moments that elevated the audience experience without detracting from the event's elegant atmosphere.
