In December 2024, the Al Wathba Union Parade brought together thousands of visitors to celebrate the UAE's National Day with a large-scale public event featuring live performances, ceremonial moments and a spectacular parade experience.

Appointed by the UAE Presidential Court, Evolution Technical was selected to design, supply and deliver a comprehensive AV solution across the Grandstand, VIP hospitality areas, back-of-house facilities and mobile parade units, ensuring seamless technical integration across the entire event site.

Delivering the Al Wathba Union Parade required a robust and highly coordinated technical production solution capable of supporting a large-scale public celebration across multiple event zones. At the Emirates Dubai 7’s tournament 2024, Visit Saudi created a dedicated hospitality space where guests could discover more about the Kingdom’s destinations, culture and growing tourism offering.

Evolution Technical was appointed to provide the complete audio-visual setup for the activation, combining branded content, live event coverage and carefully distributed sound to create an engaging environment within one of Dubai’s busiest sporting events.

The Challenge

The hospitality tent needed to perform as both a welcoming guest space and an active tourism showcase. Visitors had to be able to explore destination content while remaining connected to the wider Dubai 7’s programme, all within a busy venue experiencing continuous footfall throughout the day.

The technical system therefore needed to be visually clear, easy to operate and dependable over extended show hours. Audio also had to support background music, announcements and guest interaction without overpowering conversations inside the hospitality environment.

A network of large-format television displays was positioned throughout the tent to keep branded content visible from different areas of the space. BrightSign media players managed destination films, cultural features and tourism messaging, while selected screens also received live event feeds.

For audio, a compact L-Acoustics system using 5XT loudspeakers and supporting subwoofers provided controlled coverage across the activation. The system was balanced to deliver warm background music and clear speech reinforcement while maintaining a comfortable atmosphere for guests and hosts.

As part of the Mansour Festival at Zayed Sports City, Evolution Technical was appointed by Energie Entertainment to design and deliver a fully wireless lighting solution for a fleet of illuminated parade floats. The project required a creative approach to mobile event lighting, ensuring every float remained visually striking while operating independently throughout the live procession.

The Challenge

Unlike a conventional event installation, the moving floats had no access to mains power and operated continuously along the parade route. The lighting system therefore needed to be completely self-contained, lightweight and reliable, providing consistent performance for the entire event without the use of generators or trailing cabling.

Evolution developed a fully battery-powered lighting system using Astera AX5 uplights, AX3 spotlights and Titan Tubes to create dynamic colour, accent lighting and linear effects across each float. For Duroor Nights, an exclusive stargazing and community engagement gathering, Evolution Technical were appointed to deliver an audio, video and lighting solution that respected the natural environment while supporting the event's astronomy programme.

With just 30 guests attending, the emphasis was on intimacy, mood, and minimal environmental impact. Every technical element was carefully selected to enhance the guest experience without detracting from the primary attraction - the night sky.
